He is a contributing author to Diverse Bodies, Diverse Practices: Toward an Inclusive Somatics- Editor Don Hanlon Johnson (2018) writing on Somatic therapy with Gay men. He has a BS in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. His dissertation focused on Somatic Resilience in Gay Men. The primary focus of his work is with embodied somatic psychology, Somatic Resilience Theory©, relationality, and sexuality.
He has a private practice in San Francisco where he works with individuals, couples, and groups. He is a transdisciplinary psychotherapist incorporating Core Energetics, salutogenics, hypnosis, NLP, Gestalt, movement and exercise, epigenetic theory, medical psychology and Psycho-Physical Therapy in his work.
